Hej!

"Hej!" (say it "hey") means hello in Swedish!  This week we are in Sweden!  We flew into Stockholm and drove up to a city called Sundsvall.  Here are some pretty flowers they had in the town square.

 

While we were there we took a walk and there were a lot of different dragon statues.  This is Kieran's favorite.  It has the Swedish colors, yellow and blue.

Here is a cool car we saw.  Kieran thought it looked like "Snotrod" from Cars.

What is this???  We think it's one of the dragons, but we're not sure.  Put your best guess in the comments.

You can tell we are in Sweden because they had bouquets of flowers in the grocery store in Swedish colors!

When we left Sundsvall the next day, we drove north again and crossed this cool bridge.  It is the 8th longest suspension bridge in the world, just slightly shorter than the Golden Gate Bridge.  It is called the Hoga Kusten (High Coast) bridge.

 

All over the place in Sweden there are cute little red houses.  Why do they paint them all red? The paint color comes from a copper mine where iron oxide made the red color.  It's so traditional that most country-side houses are still painted red with white trim.
