Frohe Weihnachten

"Frohe Weihnachten" means "Merry Christmas" in German!

To get pumped up for Christmas we participated in our community Reindeer Run 5K.  While we were running it was 23 degrees outside.  Brrrr!!

It was so cold that you could see the frost on the plants!

A fire truck arrived with Santa in it.  Here is a picture of the German firetruck, as requested by Coach Greenwood.  The best part about German firetrucks is the noise that they make.  It's funky.

We got tons of snow for about two weeks.  Here is our back yard.

At school we even got to go cross country skiing for PE.

We also went to a Christmas Market in Nuremberg.  It had lots of booths of candy, food, and crafts.

We had lunch.  Our lunch was Nuremburg bratwurst in fresh rolls.  All the places in Germany have their own special kind of wurst (which is sausage.)

"Eat them up yum...."
