"Cześć" means hello in Polish!
We finally got snow here in Germany!
And somehow, we got it to snow in this picture! Cool, huh?
So my mom's cousin, Kyle, came to visit on his way to a semester abroad in Turkey. So we had to show him around!
One of the places we went was Prague. We have already been there, but this time we knew our way around and it actually wasn't snowing in Prague. Last time we were there, it was snowing. So here is the astronomical clock.

We climbed St. Vitus Cathedral again. It seemed smaller this time. Maybe because we have climbed so many other larger churches since the last time.

It's really pretty!
St. Vitus Cathedral is right next to the Royal Palace. And here are some of the garden areas.

So last time I promised you Poland. After a crazy drive on some back roads through the countryside of Czech Republic and Poland, we arrived at our weekend destination of Miłków, Poland. Nearby in Karpacz, Poland we visited the Wang Church.
Let me tell you about the Wang Church.
It's all made out of wood.
(Except for the windows.)
It was built with no nails. Only wooden joiners.
Even inside, everything was made out of wood.
(Except for the funky star light you see there...it was part of a wooden nativity scene.)
It had a skinny hallway all the way around.
So if you're thinking that this Wang church kind of reminds you of a Viking Ship...
You're right! It does kind of look like a Viking ship!
That's because it was built by Norwegian Vikings around the year 1200.
And my favorite part of the church were the lions, which looked like llama cats.
So a Prussian king saw this church in Norway and really liked it. So he was like, "Hey! I'm gonna buy that!" And the Norwegians were like, "Okay, but we don't do giftwrap."
They did take it all apart and moved it to what is now Poland, and built it again on the top of a mountain!
My dad won't let us buy that kind of souvenirs.
Say goodbye to the Wang Church.
We hiked a little bit into the mountains above the Wang Church.
And built a tiny snowman.
And killed him with a giant snowball.
And while we were feeling like giants, we went to "Miniature Park" which is a unique attraction in southern Poland. This is not a real building. I mean, it is...it's just really tiny. It's the palace of Miłków...only...really tiny. We stayed just down the road from the real thing.
Fee Fi Fo Fum...Kieran looks like he is going to crush the tiny castle (a replica of Chojnik Keep)...
They had miniature replicas of all the important landmarks in Southern Silesia, which is part of Poland. Sometime we'll have to take a longer trip and see the real things. This one is a replica of Czocha Castle. They even had a mini Wang Church, but it was indoors, so the picture didn't turn out.
But for now, I am just going to have say that I've been here, to Książ Castle, and use this picture as proof. Don't look too closely at the shrubs in front of the castle...they're plastic.
